Language Requirements
Japan offers programs in both English and Japanese, and the language requirements depend on the course and institution.
English-Taught Programs
For programs delivered in English, universities generally require proof of English language proficiency through one of the following:
IELTS Academic
TOEFL iBT
PTE Academic
Duolingo English Test (accepted by some universities)
The required score varies by university and program. In some cases, students who have completed previous education in English may qualify for a waiver, subject to the institution's policy.
Japanese-Taught Programs
Students applying for Japanese-medium programs are generally required to demonstrate Japanese language proficiency through the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
Typical requirements include:
JLPT N2 – Required by many universities and vocational institutions.
JLPT N1 – Preferred or required for highly competitive academic programs.

Scholarships:
